THANK YOU!  MAMMA MIA PLAYED ITS FINAL PERFORMANCE AUGUST 20th, 2021!

What to Expect At Our Outdoor Theatre at Bartlett’s Farm This Summer

Please be prepared with warm clothes as the temperature may drop considerably between the beginning of the performance and the end.

What if it rains? It depends on the situation. In case of a rain shower that is expected to be quick, we'll pause the show and continue on once the rain stops. Please be prepared with umbrellas or a to plan to wait out a hold in your vehicle. In the case of more serious rain, we will cancel the evening's performance and make every attempt to move your tickets to another night. We have built in rain dates in our calendar in the hopes that we can accommodate everyone. If we don't reach intermission in a performance, tickets will be refundable if no other date works for you.

Where exactly is the Outdoor Theatre? Where do I park? Our outdoor theatre will be located in the field directly to the left of the Bartlett Farm Store. Theatre Workshop of Nantucket will have designated parking spaces in the existing parking lot. There will be signs and parking attendants to direct you to the designated spots. There will be handicapped parking spots available.

What does the Outdoor Theatre look like?  We are in the process of constructing a temporary elevated stage structure complete with theatrical lighting and sound. There is no tent, it is entirely an open air venue.

What is the seating arrangement? Audience members will sit with their party. Seating areas can accommodate groups of any size.  Each seating area is at least six feet from the nearest table. Seating areas are staggered for good lines of sight to the stage.

What time are the shows? Performances will begin at 7:30 and run to 9 or 9:30 depending on the performance. In July the sun sets around 8pm, in August it sets around 7:30. We suggest planning accordingly with extra clothing as it may be cooler at the end of the show that it will be on arrival.

Will the Bartlett’s Farm Store be open? The Bartlett’s Farm Store typically closes at 7pm in July and August.

Are there restrooms available?  Yes. There are portable restrooms, including an accessible restroom available for patrons.

What about heat, cold, rain etc.? Part of embracing the beautiful location and the magic of outdoor theatre will include being prepared with extra clothing for occasionally unpredictable weather. The evening’s performance will be canceled in the event of rain.

Is the Outdoor Theatre accessible for patrons with wheelchairs and walkers? Yes. There are handicapped parking spaces available with easy flat access across the field to accessible tables and accessible portable toilets. There is no flooring, but the grassy field is relatively flat.

Can we bring our own chairs? No, except for seated walkers and wheelchairs.

Will there be concessions? Can I bring food and beverages?  In accordance with MA guidelines for this type of venue, we are sorry that no food or drink is allowed.

When is your Box Office open so I can buy tickets? Tickets can be purchased online 24/7 or by phone 508-228-4305 Tuesday through Friday from 10:00a to 2:00p.
